Golden Saffron of Herat

Three types, named by the cut
These trade names describe how the red stigma is trimmed and sorted. Super Negin is the most selective cut, Negin is long trimmed threads, and Pushal is red threads with some yellow style left on. Colour, aroma and taste strength are separate qualities that only a laboratory test can measure.
Super Negin · Negin · Pushal
What is available
Which grades are offered, in which pack sizes and at what price is confirmed for each lot. We do not list prices until a lot has landed and its details are confirmed. Ask us what is available now.
Saffron for kitchens and shelves
Restaurants, caterers, sweet shops, bakeries, grocers and spice merchants in Victoria can ask about grades, request a sample and discuss regular supply. Trade prices are shared directly with businesses, not published on this website.
For trade buyers
For home cooks
Retail jars and gift packs are being prepared. We will publish pack sizes and prices only once they are confirmed. Send us a message and we will let you know when they are available.
How we work
• The grade is named on every quote: Super Negin, Negin or Pushal.
• Pack size, price and delivery are confirmed in writing before you order.
• We share laboratory results only for lots that have actually been tested.
• You deal directly with the founder, Belal Dawlat.
